The mountain of Špičák can be found in the western Bohemia, not far from Železná Ruda, close to German borders. It offers the best opportunities for skiing at the Czech side of Šumava mountains. Skiers of all levels - from beginners to advanced experts can find good skiing opportunity there. Beginners can use a practice slope and a tow of skiing school or a blue skiing track No. 1. Intermediate skiers can try tracks No. 2 and 3, and the bravest ones can try steep parts of a slope No. 2, which can be gone round comfortably. For people enjoying steep slopes waits a black track No. 4, nicknamed Chance. Its first part is a bit gentler, but in the second part you can really enjoy skiing in bulges. Evening skiing is regularly available at an illuminated slope No. 5 - Lubák, which is also treated by artificial snow.
